I too live in a small rural community with so many cliques...
mainly centred around sport...sport and more sport...
who is related to whom...
who lived in what house on what road with the old tin shed...no names given...locals know though..
I have isolated for a long time and this further exasperated my own mind health...on top of other stuff that I was dealing with...
Great stigma...even racism...
gossiping seems to be the acceptable form of conversation which automatically turns me off..
so already feeling different...I really do not fit...
Am starting to continue with my own stuff as well as carer support group outings occasionally.

I am not on here much ...down side is miss out on topics that would be of help...
