not coping

ive been watching a few tv series @Appleblossom
ones a baking show called 'is it cake' theyve just released some new seasons for halloween and christmas so ive been watching those
Schitts creek is a comedy
and then ive been catching up on all the latest crime docuseries

@outlander oh. i dont watch that much tv, but we saw an old B&W comedy with Cary Grant which was a bit average, and we both preferred a David Lynch movie.

Its good to be able to distract though.

i met someone today in real life who I had known for a couple of years online. 

its a strange new world, but really good to get to know her.  She is in her 20s but we chattered for 6 hours, walked around the river and ate twice.

how exciting you met someone new @Appleblossom

i honestly get along so much better with people older then me. even at work when the younger people start talking to me or the younger clients i have to be very good at pretending lol.

it sounds like a really lovely time though!

its really good to see you @Sans911 itll be a lifelong battle now. have another surgery and major treatment coming up in a few months. they wanted earlier but i cant afford any more time off work now. how are you going? how are the cats going? still the 2 boys?

I'm ok thanks. MIL back in hospital. Gave us a real scare last week but hopefully home tomorrow if all tests come back clear.

Yes I was similar @outlander usually having friends a lot older, but I am getting on meself, and it is just the way it panned out. I also met a lovely woman in her 40s this week who I have known for a year online. So that was the big theme of this week, meeting people in real life. 

Today I went for lunch with my son and a friend, so feeling pretty spoiled with all the eating out and fancy food at home, and I haven't even put weight on.  Yay!
