I can’t cope

It has been really upsetting @Ru-bee 

I 100% get where you were coming from yesterday and understand where I went wrong. 

I get you guys have a job to do but when it’s hard that what’s ok with someone is totally not ok with someone else. I don’t even know what I said that was wrong. That’s where it is hard. 

I have had to work really hard to feel safe in here again and now that has been compromised once again. I feel like I can’t say anything and feel intimidated.

I get that @Captain24, it is important to understand what actually happened and without knowing that it would be really confusing. I'm going to reach out over email shortly and we can go over it together.

Ive just had my Pdoc appointment and come away with an adhd diagnosis which was expected but also an ASD diagnosis. It has been put in my mind recently that I may have it but to hear it is so much different.

So one diagnosis you were expecting and one you weren't @Captain24 I know it might take a little while to process that information but how's it sitting with you at the moment?

It does explain why I’m not a nice person and struggle to be caring @Ru-bee. It explains why I struggle with the fallout of being social and when plans don’t go the way I expect. But I’m not sure how I feel about it. The explanation is helpful but it kinda makes me feel uneasy.

hey again @Captain24! just caught up with the convo, and i see you got your diagnoses! even though you suspected it, it's a lot different once you do have the official diagnosis hey. do take your time to process it.

now you're one step closer to find the right supports/meds for you!

It is different @rav3n. I start on new meds for adhd tomorrow so if they don’t send me manic they will help with a lot but the stuff that is affected by ASD won’t improve as there is no medication but I’m hoping my psych can help for the next 2 appointments then she is away for 8 weeks. Right when I need her
