Re: I can’t cope

Pix doesn’t seem to be improving

Re: I can’t cope

Oh no @Captain24 !

Runny bum?

Re: I can’t cope

No.. I’m taking her to the vet in the morning. She is not excited for food, doesn’t want treats, laying on her side, moaning, yoga stretching and she hasn’t pooped that I’ve seen. @tyme

Have you been busy tonight?

Re: I can’t cope

OH oh no @Captain24 . What a worry. How are you holding up? I can see how stressful this is for you.

Busy? Yeah! I was working on two documents that I needed to finish tonight because they are needed for.... yep, you got it - tomorrow lol.

So for tomorrow, you've got:

- vet

What else?

Have I told you that tomorrow, I'm:

- going to have coffee out in the morning

- get more sticky note stuff done

- forums in the late evening (I think!)

That's all i know for now.

Re: I can’t cope

I’m just watching her. She is on the lounge with me right now @tyme. I’ve seen this before in my old dog so I’m hoping it’s not the same and she just has an infection or something. She has spent most of the day under my bed on her side. She didn’t even ask for her bath time treat. She gets a special one.

Im worried about my little girl. She is my baby. Just hoping it’s something simple. I’m a little heart broken that she is so unwell.

At least you’re working on it now rather than tomorrow morning!

I need to clean the house. Clean the cupboard under the laundry sink.

Clean out the drawers in the tall boy.

Good on you for going out for coffee.

Sticky note stuff sounds good. Even if it’s just one thing.

Oh.. I’ve organised a lunch for next Thursday and probably one Saturday in the coming weeks.

Re: I can’t cope

Awww @Captain24 ,

Please keep me posted with how Pix goes. She's as much your baby as our Community baby now!

I really hope she'll be okay.

Sounds like you've got a lot more cleaning to do tomorow - it's never ending!

Also, well done for organising lunch out. Thinking of which, I want to take my niece (eldest) to a lebanese cafe. She loves Zaatar.

What sorta cafes do you have around you?

Re: I can’t cope

I’ll let you know how she goes @tyme. I don’t take her to the vet unnecessarily. Thanks for loving her too!

It doesn’t end. I have so many corners that need sorting.

The wineries have different stuff but in town it’s all just basic coffee shops, we will have lunch at one of the pubs. We do have Chinese, Thai and Indian restaurants though.

I’ve never heard of Zaatar

Re: I can’t cope

You definitely seem like the kind of friend who is good in a crisis! It's so interesting how some of the most anxious people I know are the best at problem-solving and supporting others... would you ever consider a job in support? (Forgive me if this has been discussed before and I have missed it!)

Oh wow, that's so lovely. What a beautiful connection to have that's rooted in your passions. What style of dance did she teach?

SO cool! Wicked is magical. Did you watch the movie?

Oh my gosh, what an incredible career that would be... do you know where she danced?

I reckon you should go to one at some point - they tour around Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, from memory. 🤩 @Captain24

Re: I can’t cope

Oh, so it's mainly wineries around you @Captain24 . Chinese I like... Indian, I don't. LOL! Good luck to me going to India for 6 weeks if I don't like the food!

I love fresh lebanese food. After eating it, I feel so clean and detoxed.

Come to think of it, I'm still on my grapefruit craze. Dunno why.

Yikes! Look at the time already! I gtg, but will check in tomorrow. I'll remember you when I look at those sticky notes!

Re: I can’t cope

I did want to do peer support work but I start the MH cert IV and couldn’t do it so I guess it won’t happen. @AuntGlow

All of it. She was the studio owner and principal. She is really talented. Whenever she demonstrated I couldn’t take my eyes off her. Im not sure of any specific places but she danced her way around.

Im about 4 hours from Sydney. I live in the country. So rural that we have a guy that rides a horse and sulky into town. It takes me 13 minutes to drive from one side of town to the other
