@CheerBear that is a beautiful project...my fingers and hands are getting too arthritic for me to knit or crochet or sew, and my eyes aren't the best for handiwork.....enjoy.

The highlight of my day yesterday was coffee and cake with two ladies from work who gave me a parting gift-my last day being 29 June-a carnelian stone and a red ruby in green fushite. One of the ladies suggested I google the meaning of these stones...and the definitions resonate! As soooo many people before me have said: its not the job they'll miss, its the people they've met along the way....and I've been rather emotional this week.....but everything will be ok.

The highlight of today:
so glad I went out today, the weather was cold but moving to keep warm helped me.
I'm inspired by the sorting I started yesterday so here's hoping I get some more stuff together to take for the charity shop.

Quick..before he changes his mind....hubby has been a hoarder for most of his life. When I got home from work tonight, he asked if I could start doing some sorting and decluttering once I've left work!!!!
Shouldn't be unkind because I know hoarding is an illness, but I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Shouldn't get excited because he'll probably have forgotten in a few weeks.

The highlight of my day today was when a stranger said hello in the street. Sometimes it's the small things that stand out the most 🌳

My farewell from work...where I'd been for 18 years and 3 months. And realising there are alot of people who will miss me...but I'm excited and scared about the next chapter of my life.
