How are you today?

I am just chilling at my friend’s house.

Heading over to my son’s house shortly as another carer is coming for 3 hours and my son now lives close to here.

My day was pretty good. I went to a church service this morning, then went for a swim, then went back to church for a second service.

Sounds like you've had a pretty busy day today! Carer? Your carer?

No my friend’s daughter’s carer.

I am looking after the daughter until tomorrow but I got 3 hours off this afternoon because she had a carer come.

Ohhhh! Got it lol. Sorry, I was confused @Oaktree . I thought you had a carer!

Would you say your day today was okay?

Yes I had a good day. Looking after my friend’s daughter is pretty chill because she is a person with autism among other disabilities so she needs low stimulation. 

I went to my son’s house and played games for a little while this afternoon so that’s always fun. I am only here until 11am tomorrow and then I can go home. When I get home I will watch the two shows I record each Thursday night

I'm glad you got to play games today again.. the Muffin game again?

What other games do you play?

No we played a game called Joe that a friend of my son made up. It’s far too complicated to explain but it is a lot of fun. I took muffin time over there but we didn’t play it today

With your book, would you read it again?

Also, you said you have an ipad, right? Do you use reading apps?

I use Cloud Library, BorrowBox, OverDrive and Libby. There's no shortage of books there - both books to read and audiobooks.

I have an audible membership so have plenty of audiobooks to listen to. I can’t do that here because I have to hear Merc tell me when she needs a catheter. I am on my iPad now because my phone is charging. I have heard of borrowbox before. That’s through your local library right?
